Reddic Smith seemingly has a perfect life—professional athlete, big paycheck, bright future—but it’s just an illusion. His real life is much more complicated. He was recruited as an operative for the ultra-clandestine Executive Office Services (EOS) long before his ascension to the professional ranks. The conflicting lifestyle is a heavy burden that he carries, especially when he’s on assignment, for he knows that at a moment’s notice a well-placed bullet or an assassin’s knife could end it all. In a race against a faceless enemy, he sets out to uncover the truth of who is after the energy source. What he finds turns out to be his greatest fear; a deadly conspiracy that may lead all the way to the Oval Office.
