《中论》，徐干著作，是一部政论性著作，系属子书，其意旨：“大都阐发义理，原本经训，而归之于圣贤之道。” 所以，历代史书除《宋史》将其列入杂家类而外，其余者均将其列入儒家类。传本《中论》一书分上下二卷，共计二十篇，从《治学》至《爵禄》十篇为上卷，《考伪》至《民数》十篇为下卷。又《群书治要》辑有《中论》逸文《复三年丧》、《制役》两篇，今本《中论》多附录之，可见今本《中论》已非完本。通过分析历代官私书目对《中论》一书的著录情况，可知该书是在宋代出现残阙情况的。
