The Karo/Rawa language is a Papuan language in the Gusap/Mot language family, located on both the northern and southern slopes of the Finnisterre Mountains in the Madang Province of Papua New Guinea. (…) There are approximately 6000 Rawa speakers and 400 Karo speakers in this language group. The Karo dialect is approximately 97% cognate with the Rawa dialect.
