Freelance wine and spirits journalist Charlotte Bordon's career is stagnating. Being a "B" list writer isn't where she wants to be as she approaches her "Dirty-thirty" birthday. Sinking her entire rainy-day fund into a charity auction for a chance to interview the elusive bourbon distiller E.H."Hank" Martin might not be the smartest thing she's ever done, but hey, a girl's gotta go big or go home. Right?

Hank Martin will talk about the distillery and his bourbon for hours. But answer questions about himself, he's so impossibly tight-lipped, no one's been able to interview him in five years.  Until Charlotte makes him an offer. Still, keeping her from uncovering a secret he'd prefer to remain long buried is going to be the biggest challenge he's ever had.
