《論語譯注》彙編了研究孔子的重要文獻《論語》二十篇，並作了較為具體的分析和解注。透過文字，我們仿佛和智者正面晤對，聆聽他“性相近，習相遠”的人性思想、“有教無類”的教育主張、“任人唯賢”的人才觀念、“各因其才”、“不憤不啟、不悱不發”、“學而不思則罔，思而不學則殆”的教學方法……而在我腦海中最難以忘卻的是他“為政以德”的教育思想，耳畔時時想徹的是“道之以德，齊之以禮”，“驥不稱其力，稱其德也”等表露其“治理國政要把道德教育放在第一位”的這一教育思想的經典論述。
