Vasina of Atlantika complies with a request from the Solar Union and flies with her flagship to Scutum Crux to explore remnants of the Parasite Galaxy – the Sacrificial Suns.
Within the Galactic Cooperation Council, increasing voices are warning against a return of the old danger. Vasina and the expedition team hope to gain new and in-depth insights into the nature of the still-unknown attacker. Already on the way, the ship and crew are confronted with other difficulties. Again, Toiber Arkroid provides a hint, but its interpretation is difficult.
Arriving inside the Sacrificial Suns star field, the Atlantika advances into an extensive solar system. The enemy of the past already awaits the expedition with a mighty Dark Brotherhood carrier ship. It comes to a fight for life and death.
This time, the Progonauts win the battle and fight off the direct attack of a degenerate- technology infected Kokradian. But the unknown solar system seems to hold more secrets. An exploratory team advances to the water moon Taachlar Mar and discovers countless dead bodies of a mollusk-like species, which are found in a lavishly built underwater city.
On Zorgoss-VIII, reconnaissance troops make a puzzling discovery. An entire continent is covered with broken, burned-out, and corroded torsos of former Techno-Clerics. The lifeless spherical bodies represent a great riddle and thus coin the name of the newly discovered planet. All crew members of the Atlantika from now on only speak of the Techno-Cleric Cemetery.
