In Biokill by Stuart Handley, Dr. Evangeline Crawston had just wrapped up a lecture on bio-terrorism when Matt Lilburn, Homeland Security, approached her; she was needed in the US. Homeland Security had word through the Israelis that a bio-weapon was going to be released on US soil. Matt was hot on the trail of the terrorist cell. Allen Hall, the Director of Counter Terrorism, and Dr. Suzanne Lopez, the Director of Emergency Management, were all working to track down the bio-weapon. However, there is a traitor in the agency.

Biokill is a great read. It is filled with high speed car chases, traitors, bio-weapons, intrigue, a bit of romance and some steamy scenes. The main character is larger than life. Matt Lilburn did it all, from jumping onto a helicopter skid to thwarting a terrorist attack. The secondary characters were well done also. Evangeline Crawston was, of course, a favorite. She was intelligent and beautiful with personality. Suzanne Lopez was snarky but with a good reason and Allen Hall had a secret. I loved the character of Bonny. The plot had twists and turns from beginning to end. A few of the deaths were very sad; they were characters that were likable. The author is a master at description. I could see the scenes being played out on the pages. The plot flowed smoothly from one scene to another, even when the scenes changed locations. Author Stuart Handley has a real winner on his hands in this action packed book.
