Written 40 years ago it is still one of the most comprehensive books ever on bioclimatic architecture. Provides a step by step guide to understanding, learning and applying bioclimatic principles for architectural design. It is good reference for most common cases, with good theoretical information and guide to practical applications.
However limited today when dealing with complex bioclimatic/bioenvironmental architecture cases, it is still an excellent reference to understand additional or more advanced techniques.
It is intended for architectural design professionals, where research on local climate and construction materials will still needed before solving a given bioclimatic problem.
